Clinical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinician to join our CAMHS team at the Women's and Children's Health Network.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical knowledge, skills, and experience to support the development of other staff.
- Lead and participate in action research projects, quality improvement activities, and policy development within the practice setting.
- Engage in consultation and liaison with other professional disciplines and non-governmental organizations.
- Provide assessment, education, counselling, and group work as essential components of care.
- Address inconsistencies between clinical practice and policy.
- Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to people from a diverse range of cultural and social backgrounds.
- Clinical experience in the treatment and management of complex child and adolescent mental health issues.
- Demonstrated experience implementing clinical assessments and interventions of a complex nature using a range of theoretical frameworks and models of practice specific to your relevant discipline.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with individuals and families for positive mental health outcomes and to foster productive working relationships across disciplines.
