About the Role
The SAMI consultant radiologist and nuclear medicine specialist is responsible for delivering medical imaging services to patients in a multi-disciplinary clinical team environment. The incumbent must work as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care, education, and research.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional leadership to clinical staff and supervise the teaching of radiology trainees, other staff, and medical students.
- Participate in quality improvement and quality assurance activities to ensure safe, effective, and efficient patient care processes.
- Represent SAMI at campus meetings and liaise with clinicians regarding service provision.
- Support and encourage team cooperation amongst staff to optimise service delivery.
