Job Title: Middle Leader - Technology and Design

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Middle Leader to join our team at SchoolHouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the Technology and Design department, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education in these critical areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Technology and Design department, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education in these critical areas.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and strategies to engage students and promote learning.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of our students.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, teachers, and staff to ensure that our school community is inclusive and supportive.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Education, etc.)
  • Hold a current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or able to obtain prior to commencement
  • Working Rights for Australia (or eligible to gain)
  • High expectations of yourself and your students
  • Be innovative in your use of pedagogy and learning spaces
  • Be bold in challenging and extending students in all areas
  • Creatively plan and support learning
  • Enthusiastically engage and contribute time to build the school community
