**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Financial Officer to join our team at the REO Group. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for driving financial performance, leading strategic planning, and ensuring effective governance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Partner with the CEO to develop and implement strategic financial plans, aligning with organisational objectives and goals.
  • Lead and elevate the finance function to become a proactive and trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on financial matters.
  • Direct the establishment of financial/accounting principles, policy, and procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and maintaining best-in-class finance operations.
  • Develop and embed structured and accurate budgeting and forecasting cadences for the leadership team and board.
  • Manage key external relationships with auditors, insurers, clients, funding bodies, and the board of directors.
  • Provide strategic leadership to identify and leverage opportunities across all areas of responsibility, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Optimise the use of business systems to create efficient work practices across the general ledger, payroll systems, and funding management, undertaking reviews and implementing new systems as required.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A CA/CPA or MBA qualification, combined with significant experience as a CFO in a medium-sized organisation.
  • Depth of experience in building best-in-class finance functions through people, systems, and cultural optimisation.
  • SIGNIFICANT commercial acumen, vision for growth, and passion for sound governance.
