About the Position

The Assistant Gymnastics Program Coordinator is a key role within our sports department, responsible for delivering gymnastics coaching activities and program administration at MLC School.

This role ensures that our students receive high-quality coaching and support, aligning with our school's values of excellence, respect, and integrity.

As an enthusiastic and reliable team member, you will work closely with our Gymnastics Program Manager, Rhythmic Gymnastics Coordinator, and Artistic Gymnastics Coordinator to achieve our goals and provide exceptional experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technically appropriate coaching sessions for participants
  • Coordinate and attend club events
  • Act as a mentor and positive role model to Junior Coaching staff
  • Provide administrative support to the Gymnastics Program Manager and other coordinators

Requirements:

  • Current Technical Membership with Gymnastics Australia
  • Advanced Coaching Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
  • Gymnastics Coaching Experience
  • TeamGym Experience (or willingness to develop key skills in this area)
  • WAG judging accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid NSW Working With Children's check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
