Job Title: Non Clinical Operations Manager

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading aged care provider as a Non Clinical Operations Manager. In this critical leadership position, you will oversee various non-clinical aspects including catering, cleaning, laundry, and maintenance contributing to the overall quality of life and well-being of our residents.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Catering Services: Manage the provision of meals and dietary services ensuring residents receive nutritious and balanced meals according to their dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Environmental Management: Oversee a team of Cleaners and Laundry Attendants ensuring cleaning and laundry services are hygienic, clean and exceeding resident expectations.
  • Maintenance Management: Oversee the Maintenance department ensuring requests are prioritized and repairs meet and exceed resident expectations.
  • Service Providers: Manage external contractors ensuring legislative and contractual requirements are met.
  • Extra Services: Ensure extra services meet aged care industry offerings resident family expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets for your remit ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and lead non clinical staff ensuring proper training performance evaluation and staff development.

Requirements:

  • Able to manage and lead teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the aged care industry including regulations compliance requirements best practices and emerging trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing staff in Aged Care or a similar industry.
