About the Role

This position involves leading and managing a team of Cabin Cleaning Officers in the delivery of Cabin Cleaning services to our airline clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance and safety regulations are always met to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Cabin Cleaning services on behalf of our customers, ensuring all necessary requirements are met.
  • Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, timesheets are accurate and complete final check and sign-off ahead of client invoicing.
  • Undertake briefing sessions pre- and post-shifts, recording relevant information.
  • Maintain Cabin Cleaning service performance standards.
  • Represent both the Airline and ourselves to the highest level, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and complete each shift operational, safety, GSE and other summary reports as directly relating to services undertaken during that shift.
  • Liaise with Airline representatives for specific requirements that may arise from time to time.
  • Arrange the delivery of lost property items to Airline representatives.

Equipment Management:

  • Ensure the safe and secure operation of all equipment and associated costs for repair and maintenance.
  • Report equipment malfunction to the Head of Ground Handling.
  • Test all relevant equipment for serviceability before commencement of every shift and record results as per standard operating procedures.

Workforce Planning:

  • Plan and manage resources to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Allocate and rotate staff on aircraft for cleaning and manage replacement or redeployment of team members.
  • Ensure team members are skilled and trained in the various disciplines.
  • Time sheet approval.
  • Manage breaks and other absences from the shift in accordance with policy.

People Management:

  • Demonstrate appropriate leadership by leading by example.
  • Work as part of the team to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Ensure yourself and team members act in accordance with guidelines, policies and Code of Conduct.
  • Lead and drive a safety culture in the team, ensuring compliance with both Airline, Airport and/or requirements.
  • Manage the performance of team members in line with Company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver training to the relevant standards ensuring staff are competent in their roles.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience leading and managing a team.
  • A valid Australian driver license.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • A valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), or the ability to successfully obtain one.
  • A valid authority to Drive Airside Card (ADA), or the ability to successfully obtain one.
  • Senior First Aid Training.
  • Understanding of the aviation industry.

Skills:

  • Competent in the operational requirements of Ground Handling.
  • Understanding of the Aviation Industry.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Customer focus to deliver exceptional service.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations.
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Health and Safety Training.
  • Manual Handling procedures.
  • Fire Warden Training.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Capable of Incident Report writing, in plain and clear English.
  • Intermediate skills for Microsoft Office Suite.
