We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to assume the role of Senior Lawyer.
About the Role- As a Senior Lawyer, you will provide expert legal advice and assistance in specialist areas including constitutional law, public law, and statutory interpretation.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with clients.
You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of matters, including:
- Constitutional law, public law, and statutory interpretation.
- High Court constitutional litigation and coordinating the conduct of other cases involving constitutional issues.
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
- Substantial experience in relevant areas and a thorough understanding of the Commonwealth legal environment.
- A strong grasp of constitutional law, public law, and statutory interpretation.
- Sound professional and business judgment.
- Outstanding research and analytical skills.
- Well-developed written communication skills and the ability to provide clear and concise written advice.
- A demonstrated ability to work under pressure and in urgent circumstances, and to take responsibility for matters with minimal supervision.
