Editorial AI Prompt Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled Editorial AI Prompt Engineer to join our innovative team.

  • Develop sophisticated language systems that power our newsroom tools.
  • Serve as the bridge between advanced AI technology and practical journalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, test, and refine prompts that guide our AI models.
  2. Craft prompts that enhance workflow efficiency while maintaining editorial integrity.
  3. Partner with journalists and editorial teams to understand workflow requirements.
  4. Define and document excellence benchmarks for AI outputs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Genuine passion for journalism and understanding of modern newsroom operations.
  • Demonstrated elementary coding experience, preferably Python, natural language processing (NLP) and prompt engineering using different models.
  • Strong grasp of language semantics and syntax, coupled with an experimental mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with both journalists and technical teams.
