Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Clinic Ambassador to join our dynamic team in the Illawarra's leading GP clinic.

About The Role
  • Welcome clients and their pets to the hospital, providing outstanding customer service and creating incredible connections.
  • Handle high volumes of inbound calls and email enquiries efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage appointments, invoices, and payments – including cash, EFTPOS, Vetpay, and Zippay.
  • Update patient records accurately and ensure data entry is up-to-date.
  • Contribute to other general admin and customer service duties as required.
Key Qualifications
  • Certificate II Animal Studies or Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing desirable.
  • Experience in reception, customer service, or high-volume call centre environment – bonus points for experience in a pet or medical health field.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality customer service (minimum 2 years essential).
  • Friendly, warm, and professional manner, with the ability to converse with a range of different people with compassion and empathy.
  • Experience with appointment entries, invoicing, and taking payments.
  • Well-developed computer skills and accurate data entry.
  • Amazing time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Team-focused and enjoy working in a close-knit team.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and remains calm under pressure or during busy times and emergency situations.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills to achieve best possible results.
  • Experience with RxWorks highly desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
