About This Opportunity

The Principal Engineer is a key role within our team, contributing to the strategic direction and successful delivery of projects. This position plays a critical part in driving high standards in engineering design and project execution.

As a senior professional, you will be responsible for providing technical oversight, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members. Your expertise in tailings management, geotechnics, heap leaching, and water management will be essential in delivering design services on time and budget.

We are seeking an experienced engineer with a degree qualification in Engineering, specializing in either Geotechnical or Civil disciplines. You should have at least 12-15 years of relevant applied experience in the design, build, and maintenance of Tailings Storage Facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, design, construction, and remediation of tailings structures
  • Desk-based studies utilizing data and information from various sources
  • Design and supervision of waste facilities
  • Project management and coordination
  • Report and proposal writing
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Engineering with Geotechnical or Civil specialization
  • Previous experience in designing, building, and maintaining Tailings Storage Facilities
  • Strong technical ability in tailings management, geotechnics, heap leaching, and water management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
  • At least 12-15 years of relevant applied experience
