Event Management Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Event Management Assistant to join our team in delivering one of Australia's largest annual events, the Sydney Royal Easter Show. As an integral part of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the show.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage exhibitor concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
- Perform office administration tasks including word processing, spreadsheet management, and data entry.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including board members, exhibitors, competition officials, sponsors, and trades.
- Assist in physical tasks related to event setup and teardown.
What We're Looking For:
- A relevant qualification in administration, event management, or hospitality is preferred.
- Background in events, administration, or hospitality with proven multitasking, customer service, and cash handling skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
