Job Title:

Cancer Care Pharmacist

About the Role:

This role involves delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services in a cancer care setting. As a specialist pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medication management and oversight of chemotherapy and supportive medicines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform specialised clinical pharmacy tasks in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective medication management strategies to ensure safe and cost-efficient use of medications.
  • Mentor and supervise pharmacists, interns, and technicians to promote clinical excellence and performance optimisation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and maintain clinical guidelines and standards of practice.
Requirements:
  • Registered Pharmacist with AHPRA (no conditions on practice).
  • Strong alignment with the Mission, Philosophy, and Values of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated high-level clinical expertise in Cancer Care pharmacy services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with ability to manage complex workloads.
