We are seeking a skilled Workshop Team Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing workshop operations, coordinating fabrication and machining activities, and leading a high-performing team towards quality-driven outcomes. Main Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and support workshop staff to meet quality, productivity, and safety goals.
  • Job & Schedule Coordination: Plan and allocate daily activities effectively to meet delivery timelines and DIFOT targets.
  • Quality & Compliance: Monitor output to ensure it aligns with industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 3834.
  • Safety & Environmental Management: Maintain a safe work environment and uphold WHS protocols.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with planning, production, and clients to foster clear communication and solve challenges.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience supervising in a fabrication or machining workshop environment.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication and machining processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to direct, support, and develop workshop employees.
  • In-depth knowledge of WHS protocols and the ability to actively promote a safe and respectful workplace culture.
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs and data entry, including experience navigating ERP systems for production tracking and documentation.
