Job Overview

The Work Transition Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality support and services to workers, employers, and healthcare professionals. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to facilitate successful transition outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face visits to empower parties to participate in the return-to-work process and achieve early transition outcomes.
  • Educate stakeholders on the return-to-work process, promoting effective implementation strategies and early intervention.
  • Facilitate and monitor cost management strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency across portfolios, producing transition outcomes, reviewing entitlements, and where possible, early determinations.
  • Assist and educate employers and workers in completing necessary documentation, ensuring technical aspects are explained in an accessible manner.

Required Skills

  • Qualifications and/or experience in personal injury management, allied health, HR, sales, disability employment services, or community services.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate outcomes, and demonstrate strong accountability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to empathize and build relationships with people at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
