About the Role

The Product Planning department at Canon is responsible for ensuring the continued supply of Canon merchandise, parts, and consumables across Oceania while maintaining optimal inventory levels in line with Canon Australia's stock strategies.

This role involves planning, forecasting, and reviewing stock levels for product lines, as well as following up on reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining correct stock levels across Oceania, maintaining product profiles in ERP systems, and analysing and forecasting demand for CINC and local products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain correct stock levels across Oceania
  • Maintain product profiles in ERP systems
  • Analyse and forecast demand for CINC and local products
  • Minimise backorders and supply ETA for awaiting items to all parties involved
  • Process inventory-related transactions as required
  • Projects as assigned

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent organisation skills and a minimum of 2 years' experience in product planning/inventory management in medium to large organisations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and decision-making ability, high accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
