What We Are Looking For

  • A completed or nearly completed tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a similar equivalent is required.
  • Our ideal candidate is proactive, committed to safety and the environment, and has a drive for continuous improvement and achieving related cost and efficiency gains.
  • Someone with a positive, inquiring nature, can-do attitude, and curious mindset will thrive.
  • An interest and proficiency in data analytics and visualisation are essential.
  • Flexibility to travel within state and interstate when needed is also required.
  • Diverse exposure to heavy manufacturing, minerals processing, mining, and construction is vital.

The Role

In the first year, you will work with experienced engineers and operational leaders at our largest cement manufacturing site in South Australia:

  • Understanding plant testing operational components.
  • Assessing and processing engineering checks.
  • Analysing and interpreting results and data.
  • Working safely, understanding HSE requirements, conducting audits, and hazard identification while on site.

In the second year, you will work on new low carbon products that support our commitment to a greener future and Net Zero Carbon targets. You will also be responsible for plant upgrades and modifications, reviewing and improving plant safety, and driving environmental efficiencies.
