Senior Full Stack Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our applications team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying complex applications using MERN technologies and AWS.

This is a permanent role with a hybrid work model, requiring attendance at the office two days per week. You will work closely with our Product Owner to drive projects from concept to production, leveraging your expertise in cloud engineering and software development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure applications using MERN technologies
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to define project requirements and develop technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to Agile principles and best practices
  • Mentor and coach junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in developing complex applications with React
  • 5-7 years of experience in developing backend services with MongoDB, Express, and TypeScript
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerized workloads (Docker)
  • Knowledge of writing unit tests with Jest and SQL databases
  • Experience with planning, designing, and deploying applications on AWS
