Senior Full Stack Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at Northbridge Recruitment. As a key member of our applications team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying complex applications using MERN stack technologies.

As a seasoned developer with hands-on experience in MERN, AWS, and cloud engineering, you will be expected to mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth and success of our business. This is a permanent role with a hybrid model, requiring attendance at our Melbourne office two days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex applications using MERN stack technologies
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain existing technologies using Agile processes and best practices
  • Perform tracking and reporting to monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Mentor and coach junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years' experience with developing complex applications using React
  • 5-7 years' experience with developing backend services using MongoDB, Express, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Experience with developing microservices and containerized workloads using Docker
  • Knowledge of writing unit tests using Jest and SQL
  • Experience with planning, designing, and deploying applications in AWS
