Role Summary:We are seeking an accomplished Registered Nurse with extensive medical experience to join our Education Team as a Medical Educator. This pivotal role requires the development and implementation of nursing education courses/programs within our hospital's medical ward.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality nursing education courses/programs aligned with industry standards.
- Provide hands-on educational support and clinical teaching/facilitation to staff members, focusing on graduate nurses & students.
- Promote evidence-based nursing practices through dissemination of current best knowledge and ensuring compliance with annual Mandatory Training and eLearning components.
- Supervise staff competencies and assess their abilities, providing guidance for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Medical Ward NUM and executive team members to prioritize departmental education requirements.
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and a minimum of 3 years' medical ward experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in eLearning platforms and a high degree of computer literacy, including MS Office.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A competitive salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope - Tasmania - Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement 2021-2024 ($58.35 per hour).
