Job Title: Urban Forestry Specialist

Mandurah's parks, reserves, and streetscape tree assets are situated in a unique coastal and estuarine environment.

The City's team will play a crucial role in shaping the long-term growth, health, and resilience of our urban forest.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and implementing tree management strategies to ensure the sustainability of Mandurah's urban forest
  • Providing expert advice, training, and mentoring to support best practice in tree planning, installation, maintenance, risk management, and protection across the organisation
  • Supervising and managing arboriculture works and tree surgery projects within the public realm
  • Implementing and monitoring quality tree management processes, including tree value and valuation processes
