Design Manager Role Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing and managing designs across multiple energy projects in Victoria and South Australia.

  • Manage and oversee designs for various energy projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop business opportunities and deliver projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to foster collaboration and drive project success.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience in design management within the energy sector.
  • Engineering degree or relevant experience with appropriate accreditation/memberships.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Proven knowledge of Australian regulatory standards and industry-specific codes.
  • Prior experience in writing bids and tenders for large energy projects.
