Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management professional to join our National Office team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in proactively managing and mitigating risk across the business, with a strong focus on compliance and regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review risk management policies and procedures tailored to our organization's needs.
  • Design and assist in implementing education programs to enhance good risk management practices.
  • Support internal and external audits of risk management practices, ensuring any identified gaps are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain, review, and enhance the risk register.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the risk function, including regular review and updating of the risk management framework to reflect emerging risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, business, health service management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in risk management, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in developing, advising, and implementing risk management frameworks and processes aligned to ISO31000:2018, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading and implementing change and improvement initiatives.
