Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of individuals with acquired spinal cord injuries. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide direct assistance to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Transferring clients in and out of bed and wheelchairs using hoists as required
  • Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene
  • Providing personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management
  • Basic wound care and self-medication
  • Domestic support, including meal preparation and household duties
  • Community access, such as driving to appointments and social activities
What We Offer

We offer a comprehensive training program for Personal Support Workers, providing ongoing development and support. Our fixed rosters allow for work/life balance, and we offer penalty rates for weekends, nights and public holidays. Additionally, we have salary packaging arrangements to increase take-home pay and an Employee Wellbeing Platform for staff and family members.

Your Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Holding or willing to obtain NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards
  • Experience in the field, or relevant qualifications (training provided)
  • A smartphone device
