About the Role

The mobile team at Zeller is seeking an experienced React Native developer to join their team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the company's mobile app, which enables Australian businesses to accept payments and interact with their finances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and domain experts to translate product requirements into technical designs and build solutions that champion the customer.
  • Collaborate with the native application teams to build cross-platform solutions to essential services, including payments acceptance.
  • Translate business and product requirements into technical designs and be part of a culture that prioritises ownership from hands-on implementation, through testing, deployment and production operation.
  • Contribute to the uplift and push the boundaries of the design system, mobile app architecture, and build systems.
  • Take ownership of the quality and production operation of the features and products that you build.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of core JavaScript and experience building complex mobile applications for large audiences.
  • Experience working in a product-driven team with an ability to put yourself in the customer's shoes and understand how your work helps them accomplish their mission.
  • Experience working in a team with robust development practices that include unit testing, static code analysis, code reviews.
  • Experience or excitement about the payments industry.
