About the Role:

As an Emergency Nurse Specialist at NSW Government, you will be part of a dynamic team providing frontline care in the Emergency Short Stay Unit (ESSU).

Under the guidance of Registered Nurses, you will deliver individualized, high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, helping to optimize health outcomes.

You will benefit from mentorship by a high-performing leadership team, have access to Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) supported training, and be able to advance your skills through structured progression in the Emergency Department's Acute and Fast Track models of care.

Key Requirements:

Current Authority to Practice as a Enrolled Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Eligibility:

To be eligible for permanent employment in this position, you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified for the position; in this instance, you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
