Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced electrical professional to join our team at a mine site in the southern region of the Bowen Basin.
This role is focused on supporting a large fleet of heavy mining equipment with a focus on high voltage systems ensuring their safe and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on heavy mining equipment with a focus on high voltage systems
- Conduct inspections, testing, and servicing in line with site requirements and standards
- Support planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure asset reliability
- Adhere to site and industry safety, environmental, and quality procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hold a High Voltage Electrical qualification (QLD Electrical Licence)
- Have a Current HV Switching ticket or be willing to obtain one
- Have experience with Komatsu 830E and/or 930E haul trucks
- Have a sound understanding of mining industry safety requirements and standards
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
