Leadership Opportunity: Hazardous Chemical Management
Job Summary:The Director oversees the unit responsible for providing regulatory services ensuring safe storage, handling, and use of hazardous chemicals under Work Health and Safety laws.
Key Responsibilities:- Leads a specialist team in developing, coordinating, and implementing training, policy, and technical support for occupational injury response, government agencies, and industry related to hazardous chemical safety.
- Delivers compliance strategy and develops high-quality regulatory programs and services improving hazardous chemical management in Queensland.
- Provides leadership and management of ongoing initiatives and designs strategic plans for safe chemical handling.
This role is critical in driving improvements in occupational health and safety across the state.
