The role of a Senior Finance Business Partner is a key position in our organisation, requiring a strong understanding of financial analysis and commercial advice.

  • Responsibilities:

This senior role involves partnering closely with departments and stakeholders to understand their needs, deliver expert financial insights, and offer innovative solutions. Key responsibilities include delivering expert financial analysis and commercial advice, leading performance reporting and management insights, coaching internal stakeholders and mentoring finance analysts, and staying ahead of funding reforms and regulations.

  • Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a commercially astute finance professional with technical expertise, stakeholder influence, and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes. You should have tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, commerce or a related field, along with membership in a recognised professional accounting body (CA/CPA), or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years' experience in management accounting or finance business partnering in a large, complex organisation is also required. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, analytical thinking, and financial modelling capabilities are essential.

  • Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, particularly in public hospital funding models, revenue streams, and cost drivers, with the ability to navigate government policy and funding frameworks. Proficiency with Power BI and data-driven approach to building dashboards, performance insights, and strategic reports is also necessary.
