Executive Director Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our consumer protection function. As Executive Director, you will bring energy, vision, and decisive leadership to drive strategic projects and shape the future of consumer regulation in NSW.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in consumer protection and regulatory frameworks, with strong communication skills and media experience. They will also possess proven leadership in building high-performing teams and driving cultural change.

  • Strategic Reform: Establish a clear mandate for excellence within the consumer protection branch
  • Public Advocacy: Represent our organisation in media and forums, enhancing public trust and profile
  • Team & Culture Building: Foster a culture of integrity and impact within a newly structured division
  • Regulatory Leadership: Take decisive action against non-compliant traders and drive enforcement
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with regulators to set national benchmarks

  • Serve as Senior Executive Band 2, based in Sydney (with flexible working arrangements available)
  • Salary Package starting at $324,000 per annum, including superannuation
