Seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Expert to spearhead our client's IT security initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in threat detection, risk mitigation, and incident response.

About the Role

The Cybersecurity Analyst will lead investigations, analyze findings, and develop comprehensive reports on emerging security trends and vulnerabilities. They will collaborate closely with external partners to continuously monitor and assess the IT landscape, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.

The role requires a deep understanding of contemporary security practices, products, and technologies, including cloud-based solutions. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders, are essential.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough threat assessments and vulnerability analysis, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement robust security policies and procedures to safeguard our client's IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Prioritize and manage incident response efforts, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security incidents.
  • Liaise with external security providers to stay abreast of emerging threats and best practices.
Requirements
  • University degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, combined with a minimum of seven years' experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in encryption technologies, ethical hacking, and vulnerability assessment techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL principles and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
