Clinical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our Electrophysiology team in Australia and New Zealand. As a Clinical Specialist, you will provide field and remote clinical, technical, and educational support to assigned accounts across the region.
Your primary focus will be to support the introduction of new therapies, including Pulsed Field Ablation, through our recent launch of the FARAPULSETM system. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to demonstrate clinical expertise and influence superior outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support, including basic troubleshooting and clinical guidance, to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias.
- Develop a deep technical understanding of electrophysiology procedures, products, and treatment applications.
- Travel as required to meet customer demand for clinical support services.
- Attend cases face-to-face or remotely with customers, operating Boston Scientific products as needed, and providing detailed training and advice on clinical attributes and techniques associated with our electrophysiology products.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with hospital personnel, including physicians, nurses, and other stakeholders, to ensure our products are trained and utilized in accordance with the Directions for Use.
- Collect and report medical documentation related to procedural device operation in a timely manner.
- Respond to complex customer needs and complaints regarding products and services by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
- Record customer information and activities in our CRM system, using it as an alignment tool with other commercial roles.
- Complete relevant administration, including reporting, stock validations, and inventory management.
- Attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
- Previous clinical case experience within electrophysiology or rhythm management is essential.
- Strong technical and clinical skills, with a thorough understanding of cardiac electrophysiology, biophysics of radiofrequency and cryoablation, and Pulsed Field Ablation.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining customer relationships, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in biomedical engineering or science-related disciplines are preferred.
- Desired qualifications include IBHRE EP and IBHRE Pacing.
