Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader to support our College-wide student wellbeing program. This is a part-time role, commencing Term 1, 2025.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and embedding a wellbeing program across our Primary Sub-Schools, enhancing teachers' mental health literacy and supporting internal referrals. They will also drive new initiatives to promote student wellbeing, collaborating closely with key leaders of the College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Boost teacher capacity and capability in mental health literacy
  • Support teachers to refer students internally within the College
  • Drive new mental health and wellbeing initiatives across the school
  • Collaborate with key leaders to design and embed a wellbeing program
Requirements
  • Qualification as a teacher and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Proven ability to inform and influence others involved in child and youth engagement, mental health, wellbeing, or learning
  • Experience supporting student mental health, wellbeing, or learning by developing connections with external services
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or willingness to obtain these prior to commencement
  • Commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
