Maintenance Planner Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling mechanical maintenance activities, inspections, and shutdowns to ensure seamless operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule mechanical maintenance activities, inspections, and shutdowns.
  • Work closely with maintenance and production teams to prioritize tasks based on operational needs and resource availability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance strategies, boost equipment reliability, and optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure all mechanical work complies with statutory regulations and safety requirements.
  • Maintain clear records and provide timely updates to support decision-making across teams.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Understanding of asset management, life cycle costing, and budget forecasting.
  • Knowledge of statutory laws for open-cut coal mine maintenance.
  • Skilled in SAP; Prometheus experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
