About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our InfraBuild team as a Day Shift Supervisor at our Revesby branch. This is a full-time position with 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday working hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safety and efficiency of reinforcing bar production and mesh distribution operations, managing a team of 10 direct reports and ensuring all WHS management system requirements are met.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and empower the team by fostering a culture of collaboration and collaboration skills
  • Evaluate and report on opportunities for improvement initiatives and meet production and output KPIs through effective planning
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to address operational challenges and allocate appropriate manning
  • Ensure employees are trained, fit, qualified, and competent to effectively run operations

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a strong leader with a background in people management within manufacturing or associated heavy industries. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • High-level problem-solving, conflict resolution, and people management skills
  • Proven experience supervising or managing a team in manufacturing or relevant industries
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Suite
  • Solid understanding of safety management systems and cultivating a safety culture
  • Strong time management, organisation and communication skills
