Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee and assure the overall compliance of our Energy Isolation Program. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing learnings, providing consistency, and driving rigor into our energy isolation program.

About This Role
The primary responsibility of this role is to establish acceptance criteria for authorizing campus energy isolation plans. Additionally, the selected individual will utilize local codes and standards as the foundation for our energy isolation program across the campus.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Establishes, in collaboration with the Engineering team, a centralized Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedure for all campus entities.
2. Determines if group or individual LOTO procedures are required.
3. Coordinates energy isolation activities with ongoing updates and liaises with our construction team to mitigate impacts on data center operations.
4. Acts as a subject matter expert during energy isolation incident investigations within area of responsibility.
5. Participates in high-risk activity (HRA) planning meetings related to energy isolation.
6. Ensures high-risk Statements Of Work (SOWs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Maintenance Of Performance (MOPs) are reviewed, with all energy sources identified.
7. Establishes a process to verify personnel qualifications, training, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work involving energy isolation.
8. Generates monthly reports on activities and the overall status of the energy isolation program.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. 6+ years of technical engineering experience, or
2. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience, or
3. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year of technical engineering experience.
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet customer and government security screening requirements, including Cloud Background Check and possibly NV1/2, PV Clearance Assessment.
