Global Capacity Building Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of international capacity building projects and contribute to the preparation of briefings, communication material, presentations and official correspondence.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated ability to support policy/program activities, procurement, financial and contract management experience, experience with scheduling and booking domestic and international travel, and a knowledge of plant biosecurity issues.

  • Assist with the planning and coordination of international capacity building projects.
  • Contribute to the development of briefings, communication material, presentations and official correspondence to support capacity development initiatives.
  • Support the planning and booking of domestic and international travel.
  • Assist with procurement, contract management and financial reporting for projects.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with international counterparts, internal stakeholders and other relevant government agencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
