We are seeking a skilled Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the grounds of our parks.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining all public open space areas to a high standard
  • Ensuring that all works carried out by Grounds & Maintenance are completed to a high-quality standard and in accordance with instructions
  • Maintaining garden beds including pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, and hedging as required
  • Maintaining lawns and plants
  • Managing the site budget allocated to grounds and maintenance and ensuring that expenses remain within limits
  • Maintenance and general repairs in relation to guest and resident accommodation
  • Regularly checking and attending to general repairs to all public open space areas as required
  • Responding and assessing permanent resident queries and escalating to relevant trades if necessary
  • Advising the Manager of any significant financial pressures and strains put on the site due to budgetary constraints
  • Ensuring rubbish bins are collected and emptied
  • Cleaning and maintaining the pool and pool area in accordance with procedures (if applicable)
  • Arranging and administering all repairs and/or maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Ensuring there is a maintenance register in place to record equipment servicing and repairs
  • At all times exercising and maintaining the highest respect for residents, guests, and employees
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in a grounds/maintenance role
  • A full 'C' class drivers license
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direction to other staff
  • Excellent customer service skills and teamwork
