Ophthalmic Equipment Specialist

Our diverse portfolio ranges from consulting room furniture to OCTs, imaging devices and retinal lasers, ensuring no two days will be the same.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Install equipment including associated system software
- Provide remote phone and online technical support
- Repair devices at customer sites and in our workshop
- Evaluate and prepare equipment prior to installation to ensure quality assurance
- Maintain effective relationships with customers through trust building
- Ongoing troubleshooting learning and knowledge sharing within the team
- Log all faults within company systems
- Manage complex issues requiring major repairs and escalation
- Proven experience in medical device service and support preferably in a related field
- Ability to move equipment manually when required
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management planning skills
- Clear telephone manner and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated results-driven able to work independently
- Willingness to travel for regional customer support including occasional overnight stays
- Valid driver's license
