Investment Analyst Role

This key role involves shaping and executing a fund's investment strategy, ensuring alignment with asset managers and capital transactions.

The successful candidate will have advanced financial modelling capabilities, strong communication skills, strategic thinking, collaboration, and ability to manage competing priorities independently.

  • Assist in preparing and implementing the investment strategy by working closely with asset managers and capital transactions.
  • Maintain and update financial models, calculate asset and fund-level returns, and perform attribution and contribution analysis to assess performance and identify key drivers.
  • Analyse the financial impact of acquisitions, divestments, capital projects, and major lease transactions, assist in coordinating due diligence processes for fund transactions.
  • Collaborate with investor relations and marketing teams to prepare fund marketing materials, respond to investor information requests, and contribute to board and investment committee papers.
  • Monitor key lease expiries and capital expenditure across the portfolio, ensuring risks and opportunities are identified and addressed in line with fund priorities.

Required qualifications include tertiary qualifications in property, finance, or commerce, with minimum 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within the property or finance sectors, with strong exposure to unlisted funds and financial structures.
