Food Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled food preparation operative to join our team in the kitchen. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food products on a large scale.
Your primary duties will include cooking pasta and grains using various methods, taking temperatures of cooked food to ensure correct temperature is achieved, and cooling all cooked food in a controlled way. You must also have knowledge of HACCP and stock rotation principles, as well as experience working in the fresh food production industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cooking and preparing ingredients according to recipes and guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate records of cooking temperatures and times.
- Ensuring all cooked food is cooled correctly to prevent bacterial growth.
- Rotating stock to ensure oldest items are used first.
You will work independently to achieve daily cooking targets and contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in the fresh food production industry.
- Knowledge of HACCP and stock rotation principles.
