Food Preparation Specialist

We are seeking dedicated kitchen staff to join our team at The Station Grocer in Suffolk Park.
About the RoleAs a key member of our kitchen crew, you will be responsible for food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key tasks include slicing vegetables and meats, assembling menu items, displaying prepared food in display fridges and ovens, maintaining consistency and high food standards, processing payments for goods, maintaining food safety and hygiene practices, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Your Responsibilities- Complete all food preparation tasks efficiently
- Prepare ingredients according to store recipes and presentation guidelines
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
To succeed in this role, ideal candidates must have previous kitchen experience, particularly in sandwich making or prep, with the ability to multitask efficiently and work well in a team. Manual dexterity and taste are essential skills for this position. You must also be able to follow instructions accurately and maintain attention to detail.
