Seven Animal Health, a locally owned and operated emergency veterinary hospital in outer Melbourne, is seeking a qualified Senior Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Lilydale/Ringwood. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with our nursing and veterinary teams, and contributing to the development of our clinic's services.

Salary PackageWe offer an above-award competitive remuneration package, ranging from $60k to $70k per annum, commensurate with experience, plus superannuation benefits. This comprehensive package reflects our commitment to recognizing and rewarding our staff's hard work and dedication.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years' clinical experience. Previous experience as a Team Leader, Nursing Manager, or Senior Veterinary Nursing role is highly desirable. We are seeking someone who can lead by example, prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain high standards of patient care while working collaboratively with our team.
- Certificate IV qualified Veterinary Nurse or equivalent
- At least 4 years' clinical experience
- Proven leadership skills and ability to train new staff
- Excellent interpersonal skills and product knowledge
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
The selected candidate will be expected to perform general nursing duties, including admissions, reception, stock maintenance, assisting with surgeries and consultations, cleaning, and medication control. They will also contribute to maintaining high standards of hygiene, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting our team in achieving our goals.
