Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk and Safety Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building risk and safety capability across PCYC, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and maintaining and updating our safety management system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the organization
  • Maintain and update the safety management system, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential risks and hazards
  • Collaborate with the Risk and Safety Team to build risk and safety capability across PCYC
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on risk and safety matters

Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification and/or a minimum of five years' relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with and managing risk
  • Proven ability to interpret relevant legislation and regulations
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office products
