About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Adelaide Oval. As a key member of our maintenance and operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our world-class venue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on carpentry, door furniture, and joinery throughout the venue.
  • Lead Role: Take a lead role in all carpentry matters, ensuring that all assets and building systems are delivered to a high standard.
  • Project Management: Complete projects on time and within budget, working closely with our project management team.
  • Event Support: Provide general maintenance and operational support during events and functions.
  • Communication: Liaise with all departments within the organisation to ensure that maintenance needs are met in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Trade Qualifications: Hold trade qualifications in an area such as second-fix Carpentry.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of three years' experience, preferably on a large construction site or stadium environment.
  • Skills: Possess exceptional time management skills, practical experience in contractor management, and a strong focus on WHS.
  • Physical Fitness: Be in good physical fitness and have the ability to work at heights.
  • Communication: Have effective communication skills and be a team player.
