About the role

We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our maintenance team at one of our remote sites in Western Australia. The successful candidate will work on a 14/7 FIFO roster and be responsible for maintaining a range of heavy machinery, including haul trucks and associated plant equipment. In this challenging and varied role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge while working with a highly experienced team.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Operate machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output
  • Comply with all relevant policies and procedures
  • Respond to instructions from the Mining Supervisor
  • Effectively position machinery to allow for efficient loading
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards
  • Carry out pre-start checks

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in the maintenance of heavy machinery in a mining environment. CAT and Komatsu experience would be highly desirable, as would a valid driver's licence and current Standard 11 qualifications.
