About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Languages Teacher to join our dedicated team at Freeman Catholic College Bonnyrigg Heights.

Job Overview

This full-time, temporary position is scheduled to commence on January 2025. As a Languages Teacher (Italian and French), you will be responsible for creating engaging and rigorous learning experiences for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement high-quality, student-centered lesson plans that cater to diverse needs.
  • Demonstrate expertise in teaching Italian and French languages, including utilizing formative and summative assessments to drive student progress.
  • Utilize technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences and integrate it into your teaching practices.
  • Support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being.
What We Offer

We offer a remuneration package valued at up to $136,142, with a base salary ranging from $85,000 to $122,100. Additionally, we provide:

  • Salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Education.
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
  • Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
