Noise & Vibration Specialist Job Opening

A consulting firm is seeking experienced professionals to join its team of acoustic engineers/specialists. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with expertise in noise and vibration consulting projects.

About the Position

We are looking for skilled and motivated individuals to assist us in delivering high-value consulting services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in acoustic engineering or a related field, as well as significant experience in technical acoustic assessments and design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Introduce the newly created discipline to existing and potential clients.
  • Initiate processes, implement systems, and delivery of advisory reports.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in acoustic engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3-20 plus years' experience in acoustic engineering undertaking technical acoustic assessments and design.
  • Excellent technical competency with recent experience undertaking acoustic modeling and preparation of acoustic assessment and report writing.
  • Good organization, project management skills, and exceptional report writing skills.
  • Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to provide mentoring and coaching to other staff members.
  • Basic understanding of building services and fire safety.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical matters to clients and other stakeholders in an easy-to-understand and simple manner.
  • Experience with SoundPlan or similar tools is essential.
