Acoustic Design Specialist

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Acoustic Design Specialist to join our team. This role will involve driving innovation and advocacy to strengthen our product offering across commercial interiors, education, healthcare, and workplace environments.

  • Lead advocacy efforts to improve regulations and guidelines for acoustic environments.
  • Deliver whitepapers, research collaborations, and keynote presentations to position the company as a leader in acoustic design.
  • Partner with architects, designers, and academic institutions to drive awareness and adoption of best practice acoustics.
  • Benchmark Australian standards against international frameworks to inform product development and advocacy.
  • Provide expert insights to guide marketing, sales, and product development teams.
About You

We're looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical expertise, advocacy, and market influence. Ideally you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Acoustics Engineering (essential).
  • A proven track record engaging with governmental bodies and technical committees.
  • Experience with international standards development.
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or product management in building products, interiors, or construction.
  • Strong communication skills – able to translate complex acoustics into practical solutions.
  • Thought leadership – someone who is a go-to expert.
