The State Government of Victoria, Australia is seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team in Student Support Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-level speech therapy support services to improve student learning and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation to schools, healthcare providers, and families on evidence-based best practices for speech and language development and intervention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and school leadership to ensure holistic care and support student learning and wellbeing.
- Develop and implement programs, procedures, and policies that foster resilience in children and young people to support their educational needs.
- Provide authoritative professional advice on student wellbeing issues and disability inclusion.
- Contribute to the professional development of other speech therapy support service team members.
- Liaise with community service organizations, departments, hospitals, and specialist programs to support student needs.
Requirements:
- A graduate or post-graduate degree in Speech Pathology.
- Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- A valid Working with Children Check and full Drivers' License is required for this position.

About the Division
Schools and Regional Services comprises 17 Areas within four regions across the state, as well as 5 central Divisions. Student Support Services (SSS) comprise the Allied Health professions of psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and behaviour analysts.
